The Arctic Armor 15-Year Solid Winter Cover for 18' round above ground pools (MPN WC904-4, SKU PST-WC904-4) is built from woven polyethylene with a 14x14 scrim and reinforced heat-sealed seams, so water, leaves and debris stay on top of the cover while your pool is closed. It is cut to a 22' round size with a 4' overlap and includes a vinyl-coated cable and metal winch that hold it snug. Blue on top with a black underside, it is backed by a 15-year limited warranty with the first 3 years unconditional on fabric and workmanship.

A winter cover is designed to protect your pool from the elements while the pool is not in use. It is not a safety cover. Stay off the cover at all times, and never leave children or pets unsupervised near the pool, covered or uncovered.

Which size do I need?
Choose by pool size. This cover fits an 18' round above ground pool and is cut to a 22' round size, overlap included. It is sized for water lowered up to about 12 inches below the top of the pool, so if you drain further for the winter, order a larger size.
What is the right way to install it?
Tape over sharp edges, then with one or two helpers center the cover so the 4' overlap is even around the whole pool. Let it rest on the water and hug the pool wall; never stretch it tight across the pool. Weave the cable through the grommets, feed both ends into the winch and turn the handle clockwise until snug. Pad any sharp spots on the top rail where the cover rubs.
Do I need to pump water off the cover?
Not in the fall. Per the installation guide, the solid cover is made to hold rainwater on top through the winter without harm, and that water helps keep the cover in place.
How does the 15-year warranty work?
Years 1 through 3 are unconditional on fabric and workmanship. From year 4 through year 15, material degradation earns a pro-rated credit toward the purchase of a new cover. A receipt is required, and you cover handling and shipping on the replacement. Improper installation voids coverage, including an off-center cover or hold-down devices that did not come with the cover. The warranty does not cover damage from wind, snow or heavy rain, or wear at unpadded sharp spots on the top rail.
How is the 15-Year Solid different from the 10-Year and 12-Year Solid?
All three are solid above ground winter covers that keep water and debris on top and install with a cable and winch. The number in each name is the length of its limited warranty in years, and the 15-Year Solid has the longest unconditional period of the three: 3 years, against 2 years on the 10-Year and 12-Year Solid. Colors differ too: the 15-Year Solid is blue on top, the 12-Year Solid is green and the 10-Year Solid is gray.

Dog chewed pool robot cord end. Ordered this fix it. Delivery was a little slow and I think some instructions should have been included as should have been a tiny allen wrench needed to tighten the wires into the plug. I got it done but think most homeowners would have a problem doing it. Other than these issues, the plug works fine and was much cheaper than buying a whole new cord.
Had a minor issue with pricing of a separate part in my order, but the sales team was responsive and reasonable, and worked with me to come to a mutually agreeable solution. Came here looking for a replacement flow switch and housing. My last one that I purchased on Amazon (cheap Chinese ****) lasted only 9mo before leaking severely in 2 places.
