The Arctic Armor 10-Year Solid Winter Cover for 15'/16' round above ground pools (MPN WC401-4, SKU PST-WC401-4) closes your pool for the off-season with solid woven polyethylene that keeps leaves, dirt and debris out of the water. It is cut to a 19'/20' round size, so the 4' overlap lets the cover rest on the water and hug the pool wall, and a vinyl-coated cable and metal winch come with it to cinch the edge tight. Gray on top with a black underside, it is backed by a 10-year limited warranty with the first 2 years unconditional on fabric and workmanship.

Solid Fabric, Sealed Seams

What size winter cover do I need?
Order by pool size, not cover size. This cover is made for a 15'/16' round above ground pool and is cut to a 19'/20' round size, which already includes the 4' overlap. It is sized for water lowered up to about 12 inches below the top of the pool; if you lower your water more than that for the winter, order a larger size.
How do I install it?
Plan on one or two helpers. Tape over any sharp edges first, then lay the cover over the pool so it rests on the water with the overlap even all the way around. The cover should hug the pool wall, not stretch across it. Weave the cable through the grommets, run both ends into the winch and turn the handle clockwise until the cover is snug. Pad any sharp spots on the top rail where the cover rubs.
Should I pump rainwater off the cover?
Not in the fall. The installation guide says this solid cover is made to hold rainwater on top through the winter without harm, and that the water helps hold the cover in place.
What does the 10-year warranty cover?
Years 1 and 2 are unconditional on fabric and workmanship. From year 3 through year 10, material degradation earns a pro-rated credit toward the purchase of a new cover. A receipt is required, and you pay handling and shipping on the replacement. Improper installation voids coverage, including an off-center cover or hold-down devices that did not come with the cover. The warranty does not cover damage from wind, snow or heavy rain, or wear from sharp or unpadded spots on the top rail.

Dog chewed pool robot cord end. Ordered this fix it. Delivery was a little slow and I think some instructions should have been included as should have been a tiny allen wrench needed to tighten the wires into the plug. I got it done but think most homeowners would have a problem doing it. Other than these issues, the plug works fine and was much cheaper than buying a whole new cord.
Had a minor issue with pricing of a separate part in my order, but the sales team was responsive and reasonable, and worked with me to come to a mutually agreeable solution. In a world where character and reason has become the exception rather than the norm, they stand by their word and were committed to finding a fair solution.

Came here looking for a replacement flow switch and housing. My last one that I purchased on Amazon (cheap Chinese ****) lasted only 9mo before leaking severely in 2 places.
