OEM 2 inch union seal for heaters and pumps.
The Waterway 711-4030B 2 inch Union Gasket (SKU PST-WW7114030B, MPN 711-4030B) is the OEM ribbed O-ring gasket that seats between 2 inch slip or threaded unions on spa heaters, pump wet ends, and other flow-through plumbing. One face is flat, the other carries a molded raised O-ring rib that compresses into the union groove for a leak-tight seal without thread sealant or Teflon tape. Replace it any time you break a 2 inch union, swap a heater element, or chase a slow drip at the pump suction or discharge.

Which side of the gasket faces the union nut?
Seat the gasket so the raised ribbed O-ring side faces the union groove on the heater or pump body, and the flat side rides against the union tailpiece. Hand-tighten the union nut, then snug it about a quarter turn with channel-lock pliers. Do not use Teflon tape or pipe dope on the gasket face.
Will this fit my 2 inch pump or heater, even if it is not a Waterway?
Yes. The 711-4030B is the de facto standard 2 inch union gasket and seats in Waterway, Gecko, Hydro-Quip, Aeware, United, and Balboa heater manifolds, as well as Waterway Hi-Flo, Executive, and Champion pump unions. It also cross references to part numbers 711-4030, 6000-287, and 610874.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Power down the spa or pump at the breaker, close the slice or gate valves, crack the union nut to relieve pressure, pull the old gasket, and drop the new one in with the ribbed side toward the union body. No tools, sealants, or lubricants are required. Total swap time is under five minutes per union.
