Waterway 212-4700B Poly Gunite Threaded Retainer Ring with O-Ring
Reseal the jet, stop the leak.
Waterway 212-4700B (PST-WW2124700B) is the threaded poly retainer ring that locks Poly Jet and Poly Storm wall fittings into Waterway gunite jet bodies. The included O-ring restores a watertight seal at the jet interface so water stays in the pipe and not behind the plaster. Glues to standard 1-inch internal pipe on Waterway gunite jet assemblies.

What does the 212-4700B do?
It is the threaded retainer ring that holds a Waterway Poly Jet or Poly Storm wall fitting against the gunite jet body. The built-in O-ring forms the seal between the ring and the jet body so the assembly does not leak behind the pool wall.
How is it different from the older 212-4700?
The 212-4700B is the current revision that ships with the O-ring already included. Older retainer rings relied on a separate gasket. If your existing jet body uses the O-ring groove, use the 212-4700B.
Can I install this myself?
Yes for a like-for-like swap. Drain the pool below the jet, remove the old wall fitting, thread the new ring in by hand until snug, lube the O-ring with a silicone or Teflon based pool lube, and reinstall the wall fitting. No special tools required, but cutting into the gunite or replacing the jet body itself is a job for a pool pro.
