What size pool will the 135K BTU heater handle?
The 135,000 BTU H-Series is ideally sized for smaller above-ground pools (up to about 15,000 gallons), most spas, and small in-ground pools. For larger pools (20,000+ gallons), Hayward recommends stepping up to the 150K, 250K, 300K, or 400K BTU models for adequate heat rise.
What's the difference between W3H135FDP and W3H135FDN?
The "FDP" model runs on propane (LP) gas, while the "FDN" model runs on natural gas. Both are identical otherwise. Choose based on your home's gas supply — propane for tank-fed installations, natural gas for line-fed.
