Seal Paramount floor heads before the first freeze.
Genuine Paramount 004-302-1672-00, a 6-pack of 2 in winterizing plugs sized for the floor-head sockets on Paramount in-floor pool cleaning systems. Drop one plug into each pop-up nozzle to seal the head against freeze damage over winter shutdown. Round-with-flat profile keys to the OEM socket so the plug stays put, the captive lip prevents it from slipping into the return line, and the plastic shrugs off chlorine and salt for many seasons of reuse.

Will these plug a regular 2 in PVC pipe for winterizing?
No. These are not threaded and the round-with-flat profile is keyed to the Paramount floor-head socket, not standard 2 in PVC. For winterizing regular returns, skimmers, or suction lines, use a threaded 2 in PVC plug with O-ring, a skimmer Gizzmo, or an expansion plug, not this part.
How many do I need for my pool?
One plug per active floor head. The 6 pack covers most residential Paramount installs (PCC 2000 systems usually run 6 to 10 heads per zone). Count your heads before ordering, larger pools or multi-zone Vantage systems may need a second 6 pack.
Can I reuse them next season?
Yes, that is the design intent. Rinse off any debris when you open the pool in spring, store the plugs in a dry bag with the rest of your winterizing kit, and they will last many seasons. Replace any plug that shows cracks, deformed sealing edges, or UV chalking.
