The Thirsty-Mate 136PF6 hand pump, stocked under SKU PST-136PF6, is a 36 in manual bilge pump that moves up to 13 GPM at roughly 4 strokes per gallon, with a 72 in flexible outlet hose so you can put the water where you want it. Its narrow 1-3/4 in body reaches down into skimmer throats, pump pots, hot tub footwells, and anywhere else a powered pump will not fit or is not worth dragging out. The all polyvinyl body and shaft are non-conductive and non-corrosive, it is self priming and self lubricating, and it handles liquid up to 120 degrees F. Made in the USA.

What would I use this for around a pool?
Clearing water out of skimmer throats, pump baskets, filter housings, spa footwells, and equipment pits at closing, plus anywhere the puddle is too small or too tight to justify an electric pump.
Does it need priming?
No. It is self priming. Drop the intake end in the water, work the handle, and it starts moving on the first few strokes.
Will it handle chlorinated or salt water?
Yes. The body and shaft are all polyvinyl, so there is nothing to corrode. Rinse it with fresh water and let it dry before storing.
