The Technical Products SP2000 #000 Winter Plug (SKU PST-SP2000) is a rubber expansion plug sized for 3/8 inch pool and spa plumbing. Tightening the wing nut compresses the rubber body so it grips the pipe wall and blocks water from re-entering after the line is blown clear. Use it to winterize small return lines, air relief ports, and pressure-test fittings without dripping or sweating threads.

What pipe size does the #000 plug fit?
The #000 plug seals 3/8 inch pipe. The rubber body measures about 0.46 inch in diameter before tightening, then expands against the pipe wall as you turn the wing nut.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Drain or blow out the line first, drop the plug into the open pipe, then hand-tighten the wing nut until the rubber grips firmly. Do not overtighten with tools, hand pressure is enough to seal.
Can the SP2000 be used for pressure testing?
Yes. The same expansion seal that blocks freeze water also holds against test pressure, so the SP2000 doubles as a pressure-test plug for short 3/8 inch runs during repairs.
