Technical Products #9 Winter Plug with Red Wing Nut, 1-1/2" Pipe & 1-1/4" Fitting, Pool Closing Plug SP209CC
One color per size, so the right plug goes back in the right opening.
Technical Products #9 winter plug (SP209CC) is a rubber expansion winterizing plug with a red nylon wing nut. Technical Products color-codes its wing nuts by plug size, which makes it easy to sort plugs at closing and match each one to its opening. Technical Products rates the #9 at 1.69" in diameter, and it fits 1-1/2" pipe & 1-1/4" fitting. Technical Products builds its plugs from rubber, stainless steel and heavy duty nylon, so nothing in the plug corrodes sitting in a line all winter.

Why color-coded wing nuts?
Each plug size has its own nut color: orange #4, brown #5, purple #6, yellow #7, blue #8, red #9, green #10, gray #11 and turquoise #12. Note which color goes in which return or line at closing, and the right plug goes back in the right opening next year.
Pipe, fitting or tube: which one do I have?
A pipe size means the plug goes straight into the open end of the pipe itself. A fitting is the socket or threaded opening a pipe slides into, which is wider than the pipe of the same nominal size, so it takes a bigger plug. Tube sizes are for thin-wall tubing. If you are not sure, measure the inside of the opening and compare it with the rated diameter in the specs.

Let customers speak for us
All I can say is great customer service. Their products are good too
We had the older version and this dropped right in. Great buy!
I can’t wait for my mini Goldendoodle to be buzz for Halloween! It’s not bulky and small that it won’t bother him. He’s 32 lbs and I got the M/L
No issues with it. I received great customer service ensuring I chose the right thing and shipping was really fast.
Can not say enough about the Balboa retro fit system. I’m no expert, but I watched a you tube video and installed it myself. Hot tub is 14 years old and is up and running like new. Very pleased with my purchase. Thank you.
The process was smooth and lights arived as expected. Everything test out in good working order.
Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
This costume is legit. It has the sparkle, glittery sheen to it like the one used on screen! Very happy with it!!
Excellent service!
PST was great at communicating the status of my order throughout the various stages. I actually did encounter a shipment issue and they handled it without issue. I will be doing business again with them.
