Technical Products #9-3/4 flange plug (SP20975FS) is a #9-3/4 winterizing plug with a shallow flange, made for 1-1/2" return fittings with an internal seat. Technical Products makes a shallow flange version for returns that have an internal seat and a deep flange version for returns that do not. Technical Products builds its plugs from rubber, stainless steel and heavy duty nylon, so nothing in the plug corrodes sitting in a line all winter.

Shallow or deep flange?
Look inside the return. If there is a ledge (an internal seat) a short way in, use the shallow flange plug. If the fitting is open with no seat, use the deep flange plug.
Will a winter plug stop freeze damage by itself?
No. A plug keeps water out of a line you have already cleared. Blow the line out and lower the water below the returns first, then set the plug. Snug the wing nut by hand until the rubber grips; a plug cranked tight all winter is harder to back off in spring.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
