Anchors and end caps are non-corrosive solid brass, springs and buckles are stainless steel, and every spring wears a tinted PVC cover. What is the difference between the no step, center step, left step, and right step versions?
The no step cover is a plain rectangle. The step versions add a sewn-in 4' x 8' step section at one end, positioned center, flush left, or flush right, so the cover follows your pool's actual footprint and anchors cleanly around the steps. Pick the version that matches where your pool's steps sit.

How is HD mesh different from Tara's standard mesh?

Both carry the same 15 year warranty with the first 2 years full and both drain without a pump, but the denser HD weave shades the water far more completely and screens finer debris, so pools that fight spring algae open cleaner under it. Standard mesh is lighter to handle.
How do I size a safety cover for my pool?
Order by your pool's actual water dimensions, not by an existing cover's outer edge. Tara cuts the finished cover larger than a 20' x 50' pool so it overlaps the deck on all sides and anchors into the surrounding concrete. Because each cover is made to order, double-check your measurements before you buy.
Can I install a safety cover myself?
Yes, most pool owners handle it with basic tools. You drill anchor sockets into the concrete deck with a masonry bit, set the included brass anchors, and stretch each spring on with the included EZ installation tool. Do I need a cover pump with HD mesh?
No. Mesh drains rain and snowmelt straight through into the pool, so nothing stands on the surface. Leaves and debris stay on top where they dry out and blow or brush off. Only Tara's Solid cover requires a pump.
