Pentair's parts lists show it as the lower tank half for the SM Series modular media filters S8M150 and S8M500, and as the lower tank shell of the SD Series D.E. filter S8D110.

Dura-Glas Two-Piece Tank
Pentair builds the System 3 SM and SD tank housing in two pieces from Dura-Glas, its glass-reinforced composite resin, with a matte black finish.
Posi-Lok Clamp Design

Pentair lists a maximum continual operating pressure of 50 psi for System 3 filters, and a maximum water temperature of 104°F (40°C) for pool and spa (bather) applications.
Pressure Warning
Pentair warns that a System 3 filter that is improperly disassembled or assembled may explode under pressure. Stop the pump, open the air release valve and release all pressure before loosening the clamps, and never operate the filter above 50 PSI.

Are the clamps and cord ring included?
Pentair's parts lists show the Clamp Assembly (24850-0200Z), Clamp Bolt (24850-0010Z) and the 25 in. Cord Ring (24850-0009) as separate part numbers, along with the 25 in. Upper Tank Half Kit.
How should the tank halves be put back together?
Pentair's manual says to inspect the cord ring for cuts and nicks and replace it if damaged, not to lubricate the cord ring because lubricants may make it swell, and to tighten the clamp knobs hand tight in the sequence it shows to equalize stress on the tank.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!

I accidentally broke the original knob by tightening it too much. This was a perfect fit and works 100%. Fast delivery too!
Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.
