The Swimline heavy duty 10' Double Chamber Water Tube, Blue, part VWT10D20, is a thicker walled water bag for weighting a solid in ground winter cover, stocked under SKU PST-VWT10D20. Heavier vinyl matters on stone, brick, and broom finished concrete, where a thin tube abrades through in a season or two. The double chamber build keeps half the water in place if one side gets punctured, so the cover edge stays pinned. Fill each chamber about three quarters full so freezing water has room to expand.

Is the heavy duty tube worth the extra cost?
If your deck is stone, brick, or rough concrete, yes. The thicker vinyl resists abrasion and freeze damage, and it typically outlasts a standard tube by a season or more.
How full should each chamber be?
About three quarters. Both chambers need air space so the water can expand into it when the tube freezes solid.
How many do I need for my pool?
Enough to sit end to end all the way around the cover with no gaps. Take the pool perimeter in feet, divide by the tube length, and round up.
