SR Smith PAL and Splash Pool Lift Cover, Tan

The SR Smith 920-5000T lift cover is the factory cover for PAL, PAL2, and Splash pool lifts, finished in tan. On a PAL or PAL2 it protects the seat and actuator arm. On a Splash lift it covers the seat, actuator arm, and base. Beyond weather protection, a covered lift reads as out of service, which discourages unauthorized use.

Does it need to come off when the pool is open?
Yes. The cover goes on when the lift is out of service or the facility is closed, and comes off any time the pool is open so the lift is available to patrons.
How should it be stored?
Rinse it, let it dry completely, and fold it into a deck box or storage room. Storing it damp is what causes mildew staining on polyester.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
