SpaPure Clarifier 1 Pint Concentrated Liquid Spa and Hot Tub Water Clarifier
Concentrated clarity for cloudy spa water.
SpaPure Clarifier (SKU PST-SPA3186CS40P, MPN C003186-CS40P) is a 1 pint bottle of highly concentrated liquid clarifier that takes good looking spa water and makes it great, and pulls not so great water back into shape. Body oils, lotions, dead skin, and fine minerals slip straight through a spa filter as individual particles: this formula binds them into clusters large enough for the filter to actually catch. Dose 2 ounces per 500 gallons weekly for maintenance, or 4 ounces per 500 gallons when the water has gone cloudy or hazy. The concentrated formulation is compatible with all sanitizers and oxidizer additives, so it drops into whatever program your spa already runs.

How much clarifier do I add?
For weekly maintenance, add 2 ounces for every 500 gallons of water. If the spa has already gone cloudy or hazy, step up to 4 ounces for every 500 gallons. Add it while the spa is circulating on the lowest setting so the polymer disperses evenly instead of slugging through one jet. One capful is 1/2 oz and two capfuls make 1 oz, so a 400 gallon spa takes roughly three capfuls on the weekly dose. Avoid overdosing: more clarifier does not clear water faster, and an overdose can leave the water looking worse than it started.
Will it work with my sanitizer?
Yes. The concentrated formula is compatible with all sanitizers and oxidizer additives, so it works alongside the chlorine, bromine, or shock program you already run. Add it as its own step with the water circulating rather than mixing it into another product, and let the filter run so it has something to trap the clustered particles with.
My water is still cloudy after a dose. What now?
Continued cloudy water usually points to under treatment of the spa essentials rather than a clarifier problem: sanitizer sitting low, shock overdue, or balance drifted out of range. Test and correct those first, then re-dose the clarifier at 4 ounces per 500 gallons. A loaded or channeled filter cartridge is the other common culprit, since the clarifier only works as well as the filter it feeds. Clean or replace the cartridge and give the spa a full turnover before judging the result.
