The King Technology Sani-King Perform-Max 940 (MPN 01-05-0940, SKU PST-01050940) is the in-ground, in-line chemical feeder that doses your pool automatically so you stop hand-tossing tablets into the skimmer. Load up to 10 pounds of 1" or 3" chlorine or bromine tablets, set the dial, and the patented Performance Valve erodes only the bottom layer for a smooth, consistent 1 to 3 ppm. Chemical Safety Notice
Never load chlorine and bromine tablets in the same feeder, and never mix tablet types. Combining trichlor and bromine, or dropping fresh tabs onto residue from a different chemical, can trigger a violent reaction, fire, or toxic gas. Always empty and rinse the feeder before switching sanitizer types, add tablets only to a depressurized feeder, and keep the feeder installed after the heater on the return line so undiluted chemical never sits against the heat exchanger. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling tablets.

What is the difference between the Perform-Max 940, 960, and 920?
The 940 is the in-ground in-line feeder, so it plumbs directly into your return line as part of the equipment run. The 960 is the in-ground off-line version that tees off the plumbing and mounts beside the pad. The 920 is the smaller above-ground model with a 7 lb capacity rated to 25,000 gallons. Pick the 940 when you want the feeder inline in a standard in-ground setup.
What size pool and tablets does the 940 handle?

Where does the feeder go in my equipment set?

Can I run bromine instead of chlorine?
Yes. The 940 accepts bromine tablets for pools up to 25,000 gallons. If you are converting a feeder that previously held chlorine, completely empty and rinse it first and let it dry before loading bromine. Never leave both chemicals in the feeder together.
Can I install this feeder myself?
Yes, if you are comfortable cutting into and re-threading your return line. Shut the pump off, relieve system pressure to zero, and plumb the 940 inline after the heater using its 2-inch FPT ports with PTFE tape on the male threads only. Add unions on each side so future service and tablet refills are quick. If you are not comfortable working on pressurized plumbing, have a pool professional set it.
