King Technology Perform-Max 920 Above Ground In-Line Chlorine/Bromine Feeder
Set it once. Sanitize all season.
The King Technology Perform-Max 920 (MPN 01-05-0920, SKU PST-01050920) is an above-ground in-line feeder that meters chlorine or bromine tablets automatically as water flows through your equipment pad. It holds up to 7 pounds of 1-inch or 3-inch tabs and dials in through the patented Performance Valve, so you keep a steady 1-3 ppm in pools up to 25,000 gallons on chlorine or 15,000 gallons on bromine. You stop hand-tossing tabs into the skimmer and let the feeder do the work.
Why PST Customers Pick This
Patented Performance Valve
The Performance Valve erodes only the bottom layer of chemical instead of soaking the whole stack. That is why output stays predictable across all nine dial settings, unlike soaker-style feeders that swing wildly.
Chlorine or Bromine
Runs 1-inch or 3-inch chlorine or bromine tabs, pucks, or sticks. Switch chemistries between seasons without buying a different feeder. Never mix the two chemicals in the same load.
Fits 1-1/2" or 2" Plumbing
Molded with a female 1-1/2-inch FPT thread plus a 2-inch male step, so it plumbs into standard above-ground return lines either way. The bi-flow body installs facing either direction.
Wide-Mouth Refills
The oversized lid opens to a wide mouth so a full 7-pound load of tabs drops in fast. Fewer refills across a swim season and no wrestling tablets through a narrow neck.
Built-In Pressure Relief
An integrated pressure relief valve lets you bleed off pressure before you open the lid, so you service the feeder safely at the pad.
Pools and Large Spas
Sized for above-ground pools up to 25,000 gallons and large spas. Consistent sanitizer means clearer water and less shocking to chase down a chlorine crash.
Chemical Safety
Never load chlorine and bromine tablets in the feeder at the same time, mixing sanitizers can trigger a violent reaction, fire, or toxic gas. Always bleed the pressure relief valve and relieve system pressure before opening the lid. Install the feeder in-line only and after the filter and heater, never off-line, and follow all King Technology handling directions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Perform-Max 920 and the 940?
The 920 is the above-ground model with a 7-pound tablet capacity, rated for pools up to 25,000 gallons on chlorine. The 940 is the in-ground model with a 10-pound capacity for larger pools. If you have an above-ground pool or a large spa, the 920 is the correct feeder.
What size pool does the 920 handle?
It sanitizes pools up to 25,000 gallons using chlorine and up to 15,000 gallons using bromine, plus large spas. The nine-setting Performance Valve lets you fine-tune output to hold a steady 1-3 ppm as bather load and weather change.
Will it fit my above-ground plumbing?
Yes. The feeder has a female 1-1/2-inch FPT connection with a 2-inch male thread step, so it plumbs into both 1-1/2" and 2" return lines. The bi-flow body installs facing either direction on the pad.
Can I use bromine instead of chlorine?
Yes. The 920 runs chlorine or bromine tabs, pucks, or sticks. Load only one sanitizer at a time and never mix chlorine and bromine in the same feeder. Rinse the feeder out before switching chemistries.
Can I install this feeder myself?
Many pool owners do. It threads into the return line after the filter and heater and must be plumbed in-line, never off-line. Cut power, relieve system pressure, and bleed the pressure relief valve before any service. If you are not comfortable cutting and gluing PVC, have a pool professional set it.
