Meyco RuggedMesh 20'6" x 39'6" Grecian w/ Center & Offset Step Premium Mesh Pool Safety Cover, Green
Blocks 99% of sunlight, drains itself.
The Meyco RuggedMesh 20'6" x 39'6" Grecian w/ Center & Offset Step premium mesh pool safety cover, Green (SKU PST-MEYG2039LHCRM) seals your pool for the off-season with a tight 6 oz per square yard weave that blocks 99% of sunlight yet weighs about 50% less than a typical solid cover. Rain and snowmelt drain straight through while the premium mesh filters out finer debris than standard mesh, so you skip the cover pump and open to cleaner water in spring. Your cover ships with solid brass anchors, stainless steel springs, a stainless installation rod, and a storage bag, all backed by Meyco's 12-year warranty.
99% Sunblock
Solid-Cover Shade, Mesh-Cover Convenience
RuggedMesh closes the gap between mesh and solid covers. The premium weave blocks 99% of sunlight, compared to about 95% for standard mesh. You still keep what makes mesh easy to live with: water drains through the cover and there is no pump to run, though Meyco notes RuggedMesh drains more slowly than its lighter mesh and can need light winter maintenance. Come spring, you remove a cover that weighs roughly half as much as a typical solid cover.
Self-Draining
Rain Drains Through, Debris Stays Out
Melting snow and winter rain drain through the RuggedMesh weave, so there is no cover pump to buy, power, or babysit through a freeze. Meyco notes it drains more slowly than lighter mesh, and larger covers can see short-term ponding while finer particles are filtered out. The same tight weave filters out finer particles than standard mesh, keeping silt and leaf litter on top of the cover where your leaf blower can reach it. Meyco rates the RuggedMesh fabric for pools up to 2,500 square feet.
ASTM F1346
Engineered Past the ASTM Bar
UL performed the full ASTM F1346-91 manual safety cover test series on Meyco covers, and every RuggedMesh cover is built to exceed it, including the standard's 485 lb static load requirement for pools wider than 8 feet. The webbing is 45% stronger, doubled along the perimeter, and every seam is sewn with white polyester bonded, UV-resistant marine thread.
Who It's For
Families with Kids & Pets
A properly anchored RuggedMesh cover forms a tensioned barrier over the water that exceeds the ASTM F1346 standard for manual pool safety covers.
Wooded Backyards
The tighter premium weave traps finer debris than standard mesh, so pine needles, seed pods, and silt stay on top of the cover instead of sinking into the pool.
Snow Country Pools
Meltwater drains through the weave, so the cover sheds weight with no cover pump required. Meyco notes RuggedMesh drains more slowly than lighter mesh and can need light winter maintenance.
Green-Water Spring Openers
If you open to a swamp every April, RuggedMesh blocks 99% of sunlight all winter for a cleaner spring opening.
Why PST Customers Pick This
Exceeds ASTM F1346
UL ran the complete ASTM F1346-91 manual safety cover test series on Meyco covers, including the 485 lb static load requirement. RuggedMesh exceeds it.
No Cover Pump Needed
Water drains through the mesh, so there is no pump to run through a freeze.
Filters Finer Debris
The premium weave catches smaller particles than standard mesh, which means less silt on the pool floor when you open.
Complete Install Kit
Ships with solid brass deck anchors, stainless steel springs, a stainless steel installation rod, and a storage bag for the swim season.
Deck-Safe Hardware
Non-corrosive solid brass anchors sit flush when closed. Stainless steel buckles and aluminum strap tips will not rust or stain your decking.
Half the Carry Weight
At 6 oz per square yard, RuggedMesh weighs about 50% less than a typical solid safety cover, which makes seasonal install and removal easier than with a heavy solid cover.
Installation Notice
A safety cover meets ASTM F1346 only when it is fully installed: every strap anchored into solid decking and tensioned per Meyco's installation manual. Drill brass anchors into concrete, mortared brick or stone decks that can carry the load (Meyco specifies pipe anchors for pavers and loose brick), and never leave the cover partially attached. A loose cover is not a safety barrier.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between RuggedMesh, MeycoLite, and PermaGuard?
All three are Meyco safety covers with the same brass and stainless hardware and 12-year warranty. RuggedMesh is the premium mesh: a 6 oz per square yard weave that blocks 99% of sunlight and filters finer debris. MeycoLite is the lighter 4.4 oz standard mesh that blocks 95%. PermaGuard is a solid vinyl cover that blocks 100%. If you want mesh convenience with near-solid shade, RuggedMesh is the one.
What colors does RuggedMesh come in?
Green is the standard color at PST Pool Supplies, and select sizes are also stocked in Blue or Gray while supplies last. The color of this cover is listed in the product title.
How do I pick the right size?
Order by your pool's swim area, not the cover's sewn dimensions. This listing fits a 20'6" x 39'6" pool: Meyco sizes the finished cover larger so it overlaps the deck on all sides and anchors under tension. Measure your pool at the waterline, match it to the listed size, and if your pool has steps or an offset, match the step configuration in the title too.
Can I install this myself?
Meyco relies on pool professionals to measure and install its covers, and an improper installation can void the warranty. Installation means drilling 3/4 inch holes for the brass anchors, threading the stainless springs onto the cover straps, and tensioning the cover with the included installation rod. Once the anchors are set, Meyco says stock covers go on and come off in about 15 to 20 minutes.
Will water sit on top of the cover?
The mesh drains rain and snowmelt through to the pool, so you do not need a cover pump. Meyco notes RuggedMesh drains more slowly than lighter mesh, larger covers can see short-term ponding while finer particles are filtered out, and a sagging cover can pond water, so keep the springs properly compressed. Fine debris stays on top, so blow or brush it off before you remove the cover in spring.
What warranty does Meyco give?
Every Meyco cover carries a 12-year pro-rated manufacturer warranty, one of the longest in the category. Register your cover after purchase: keeps a database of registered covers and measurements, so a replacement can be rebuilt to your original specs.

Let customers speak for us
All I can say is great customer service. Their products are good too
We had the older version and this dropped right in. Great buy!
I can’t wait for my mini Goldendoodle to be buzz for Halloween! It’s not bulky and small that it won’t bother him. He’s 32 lbs and I got the M/L
No issues with it. I received great customer service ensuring I chose the right thing and shipping was really fast.
Can not say enough about the Balboa retro fit system. I’m no expert, but I watched a you tube video and installed it myself. Hot tub is 14 years old and is up and running like new. Very pleased with my purchase. Thank you.
The process was smooth and lights arived as expected. Everything test out in good working order.
Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
This costume is legit. It has the sparkle, glittery sheen to it like the one used on screen! Very happy with it!!
Excellent service!
PST was great at communicating the status of my order throughout the various stages. I actually did encounter a shipment issue and they handled it without issue. I will be doing business again with them.
