Safety Built to a Standard
Every SmartMesh cover meets or exceeds ASTM F1346-91 (2010), the performance standard for pool safety covers, when installed with its full anchor set. Triple-stitched 2-ply polypropylene and nylon webbing crisscrosses the pool and loads into stainless steel tension springs seated on flush-mount brass deck anchors. The anchors tighten and release with the included hex key, then thread down flush with the deck in summer, so the whole system stays out of the way until winter calls it back.

What size cover do I order for my pool?

Can I install a safety cover myself?
Merlin strongly suggests that a qualified pool professional complete the initial installation, and improper installation can void the warranty. The kit includes the anchors, springs, hex key and installation rod, and once the anchors are set, the hex key and installation rod make seasonal on-and-off a quick job.
Do I need a cover pump with a mesh cover?

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
