The AutoPilot STK0035 is the residential manifold base and top for AutoPilot single system salt chlorine generators, supplied with its O-rings and strainer but without the cell or Tri-sensor. AutoPilot lists it on the single system manifold pages for the Digital (DIG-220), Soft Touch (ST-220), Digital Nano, Digital Nano+, Nano PCC, Nano+ PCC and Total Control.

Does the STK0035 come with a salt cell?
No. AutoPilot describes the STK0035 as the manifold base and top without cell or Tri-sensor. AutoPilot sells complete manifold assemblies with a cell under PPM part numbers, for example the PPM1 with a PPC1 cell.
How must the manifold be installed?
AutoPilot's DIG-220 manual calls for the manifold to be mounted vertically only, with water flowing in the marked direction. The vertical position prevents hazardous gas buildup should the flow switch fail to detect low flow. On a pool and spa combination, it goes last in the pool return line, because a manifold in the spa return line sends too much chlorine to the spa.
What does the strainer do?
AutoPilot says the strainer screen keeps debris in the water out of the Tri-sensor and the cell, and that it needs periodic inspection and cleaning.

I accidentally broke the original **** by tightening it too much. This was a perfect fit and works 100%. Fast delivery too!
Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order. And make one, it would take 5 to 8 weeks. I contacted PST they put my order in and I received it in about six weeks. Fantastic people to work with. Thanks Tim
