The Speck Pumps Clear Trap Lid, part 2901116010 (SKU PST-35-475-1002), is the see-through strainer pot cover used on Speck 433, 72, E71, E90, ES90, S90, EasyFit and Badu EcoM2 / EcoMV / EcoM3 V pumps. It measures 5-15/16 in across and is a lock ring style lid, so the lid itself carries no threads and is held down by a separate threaded lock ring that compresses the lid o-ring. This listing is the lid only. The lid o-ring, lock ring and strainer basket are sold separately.

Does this lid come with the o-ring and lock ring?
No. This listing is the clear lid only. The seal is the separate lid o-ring, and the lid is held down by a separate threaded lock ring. Two different o-rings serve this lid family: use the 72 / S90 / E71 / Badu EcoM2 / EcoMV lid o-ring on those pumps, and the 433 / EasyFit lid o-ring on those. The matching lock ring is stocked as well.
Which Speck pumps does part 2901116010 fit?
It is the trap lid for Speck 433, 72, E71, E90, ES90, S90, EasyFit and Badu EcoM2, EcoMV and EcoM3 V pumps, all of which use the 5-15/16 in lock ring style strainer pot. It also supersedes the older 316094, 5140-121 and 5149-006 numbers.
My pump loses prime or sucks air at the lid. Is the lid the problem?
Usually it is the o-ring, not the lid, so replace that first. Replace the lid itself when it is crazed, cloudy, cracked at the rim or distorted from over tightening, since a warped lid will not let the o-ring seal evenly no matter how hard the lock ring is drawn down. Lubricate the o-ring with a silicone based lube and tighten the lock ring by hand only. If the ring is already seized, use the Speck lid removal tool rather than prying.
