The Pentair 590032 is the orifice kit for MagicStream Laminars, item 12 in the laminar's illustrated parts list, one per laminar. The orifice is where the laminar's stream of water leaves the unit: Pentair's service instructions have you position the laminar so the orifice shows through the slot in the deck cover, then adjust flow, elevation and direction once water flows from it.

How do I set the stream after servicing the laminar?
Pentair's instructions: position the laminar so the orifice is visible through the slot in the deck cover, set the laminar throttling valve to 1/4 open, turn on the supply pump and let the laminar fill. When a stream of water begins to flow from the orifice, adjust the flow, elevation and direction as desired.
What safety steps does Pentair call for?
Switch AC power off at the circuit breaker before servicing the MagicStream Laminar. Pentair says the laminar must be installed by a licensed or certified electrician or a qualified pool serviceman, in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable codes.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!

I accidentally broke the original knob by tightening it too much. This was a perfect fit and works 100%. Fast delivery too!
Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.
