Jonas 4 lb Trichlor Chlorine Tab Cartridge
Sealed cartridge, no handling loose tabs.
The Jonas 4 lb trichlor chlorine tab cartridge, part NJ1404 and stocked under SKU PST-NJ1404, is a prefilled cartridge that drops into a floating collar and feeds chlorine slowly to a closed or lightly used pool. The advantage of a cartridge over loose tabs is that you never handle the chlorine directly, and the tabs cannot spill, break up, or sit against a liner and bleach a spot. The floating collar, part NJP10030, is required and is sold separately. Cartridge and collar together give you controlled feed with almost nothing to service.

Do I need to buy anything else?
Yes. The cartridge does not float on its own. It requires the floating collar, part NJP10030, which is sold separately and is reusable across cartridges.
Can I use this under a winter cover?
Follow your cover manufacturer's guidance. Concentrated chlorine sitting directly against a cover or a liner can bleach it, so many closings skip chlorine entirely and rely on polyquat algaecide instead.
Can I mix it with my other chlorine?
Never. Mixing trichlor with cal hypo or other chlorine types can start a fire or release chlorine gas. Keep every chlorine product in its own sealed container.
