The Hydra Pools H02190 AquaGenie Orifice Plate Gasket (SKU: PST-H02190) is the factory replacement seal that sits between the orifice plate and the throat of the AquaGenie inground skimmer. Swap it in any time you pull the orifice plate for winterization or service so the assembly seats flat and the skim weir keeps a clean water line. Install the gasket with the narrow side seated in the channel, then refit the orifice plate over the top.

What does the H02190 gasket actually do?
It seals the AquaGenie orifice plate to the skimmer throat so water flows through the orifice and over the weir instead of bypassing around the plate. A worn or missing gasket lets the assembly sit unevenly and kills skimming performance.
How is the gasket oriented when I install it?
Set the gasket into the channel with the narrow side seated in the channel first, then drop the orifice plate over the top before refitting the faceplate hardware.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. This is a homeowner-level swap. Drain the skimmer below the orifice plate, remove the plate, peel the old gasket out of the channel, drop the new one in, and reinstall the plate. No tools beyond a screwdriver are required.
