GLI ProMesh 25' x 50' Rectangle Premium Mesh Pool Safety Cover
Locks out everything but the rain.
The GLI ProMesh 25' x 50' premium mesh safety cover, SKU PST-202550REPRMGRN, is the cover you install once a season and stop thinking about. Its patented tight-weave polypropylene blocks 98% of sunlight while rain and snowmelt drain straight through, so the pool under it stays clean and the top stays dry. It ships as a complete system: concrete deck anchors, stainless steel springs with covers, installation rod, tamping tool, strap hardware, and storage bag.
98% Shade
The 98% Shade Weave
Algae needs sunlight, and ProMesh starves it of one. GLI's patented mesh weave, covered by U.S. Patent No. 6,886,187, blocks 98% of sunlight from reaching the water. The same weave passes rain and snowmelt straight through while filtering out leaves, dirt, and debris. Nothing collects on top, so there is no standing water, no cover pump, and no swamp to vacuum out at opening.
ASTM F 1346-91
Tensioned to Hold All Winter
ProMesh is GLI's premium mesh, built with extra-strength material for greater tear resistance. Straps land on a 5' x 5' grid and clip to stainless steel springs, so tension spreads evenly across the whole span instead of loading a few points. Installed and tensioned correctly, the system performs to the ASTM F 1346-91 safety cover standard.
Who It's For
Rectangle Pools
Sized for standard inground rectangles from 14' x 28' up to 25' x 50', with the finished cover cut larger to overlap the deck on every side.
Pools With Steps
Center step, 1' and 2' offset step, and flush side step versions follow your pool's real outline instead of forcing a compromise fit.
Families and Pet Owners
A tensioned, anchored barrier that performs to ASTM F 1346-91 stands between the water and curious kids, dogs, and wildlife all winter.
Snow-Belt Winters
Snowmelt drains through the weave instead of ponding on top.
Why PST Customers Pick This
Complete Anchor Kit
Concrete deck anchors, an anchor tamping and installation tool, the spring installation rod, and all strap hardware ship in the box with every cover.
Stainless Steel Springs
Stainless steel springs, each with a protective cover, hold even tension across the span.
No Cover Pump Needed
Rain and snowmelt pass straight through the weave while the mesh screens out leaves and debris, so nothing ever ponds on top.
Cut for Your Outline
Rectangle, center step, 1' and 2' offset step, and flush side step versions match the cover to the pool you actually own.
Rated Safety Barrier
Performs to the ASTM F 1346-91 safety cover standard when every anchor is set and the cover is tensioned to GLI's instructions.
Simple Spring Removal
Unhook the springs with the rod, fold the lightweight mesh, and pack it into the included storage bag until fall.
Installation Notice
A safety cover protects only when it is installed correctly. Set every anchor in sound concrete or masonry decking, tension each spring evenly, and confirm the cover matches your pool's exact dimensions and step layout before ordering. ASTM F 1346-91 performance assumes installation per GLI's instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which step configuration do I need?
Match the cover to your pool's actual outline. A center step cover fits stairs centered on the end wall, 1' and 2' offset versions fit steps shifted off center, and flush side step versions fit steps built into the long side. The MPN encodes size, step layout, and color, so the cover arrives cut for that exact configuration.
Do I order my pool size or the cover size?
Order your pool's water dimensions, which are what the listing names. GLI cuts the finished cover larger so it overlaps the deck on every side, and the strap system spans that overlap to the anchors. If your pool is not a standard rectangle, measure it before ordering.
Can I install a safety cover myself?
The first install is a real project: you drill the anchor sleeves into the concrete deck, tamp them flush with the included tool, and set spring tension strap by strap. Every season after that, the cover goes on and off with the installation rod.
Is a mesh cover safe for kids and pets?
ProMesh performs to the ASTM F 1346-91 safety cover standard when properly anchored and tensioned, which is the industry benchmark for pool safety covers. It is a strong physical barrier, not a substitute for supervision or fencing.
Do I need a cover pump?
No. Rain and snowmelt drain through the mesh weave, so water never accumulates on top. That is the everyday advantage mesh holds over a solid cover.
What makes ProMesh better than GLI's Secur-A-Pool?
ProMesh is the premium line: a patented weave that blocks 98% of sunlight for cleaner spring water, extra-strength material with greater tear resistance, and a 20-year limited warranty with 5 full years versus 15 and 3 on Secur-A-Pool.

Let customers speak for us
All I can say is great customer service. Their products are good too
We had the older version and this dropped right in. Great buy!
I can’t wait for my mini Goldendoodle to be buzz for Halloween! It’s not bulky and small that it won’t bother him. He’s 32 lbs and I got the M/L
No issues with it. I received great customer service ensuring I chose the right thing and shipping was really fast.
Can not say enough about the Balboa retro fit system. I’m no expert, but I watched a you tube video and installed it myself. Hot tub is 14 years old and is up and running like new. Very pleased with my purchase. Thank you.
The process was smooth and lights arived as expected. Everything test out in good working order.
Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
This costume is legit. It has the sparkle, glittery sheen to it like the one used on screen! Very happy with it!!
Excellent service!
PST was great at communicating the status of my order throughout the various stages. I actually did encounter a shipment issue and they handled it without issue. I will be doing business again with them.
