GLI Estate Series 15' Round Solid Winter Pool Cover

The GLI Estate Series Solid Winter Cover for 15' Round pools (SKU PST-450015RDEST4BX) is a tough polyethylene cover that keeps leaves, dirt, rain and sunlight out of the water all winter. The finished cover measures 19' Round, which is 4' larger than your pool, and GLI builds it with a double folded, double stitched hem and Hold-Tite reinforced seams that will not rip, fray or come apart. The Estate line is GLI's mid-weight solid winter cover, and this closeout run includes standard Estate covers along with heavier Estate Plus and Estate Plus Xtreme builds. This one is closeout stock, so the price is cut and the quantity is whatever is left on the shelf.

Hold-Tite Reinforced Seams

Not a Safety Cover
A solid winter cover is not a safety cover. It floats on the water and will not hold the weight of a child, a pet or an adult, and standing water on top of it is a drowning hazard. Keep a cover pump running on the cover, keep everyone off it, and use an anchored safety cover if you need a real barrier.

How do I know this fits my pool?
Order by your pool size, not the cover size. The listed cover is cut larger than the pool by the overlap shown in the title so it reaches past the wall or coping with room to secure. The shape is in the part number too: RD is round, OV is oval and RE is rectangle.
How does the cover hold down?
Above ground sizes come with a coated cable and metal winch that run through the brass grommets and cinch around the top rail. In-ground rectangles use water tubes, sold separately, laid end to end around the whole perimeter so wind cannot get underneath.
It says closeout. Can I still return it, and is it still under warranty?
Yes to both. Closeout just means we are selling through the last of this GLI inventory at a reduced price. Your 30-day return window is the same as on any other cover, and the cover carries the full 12-year limited, first 2 years full (Estate Plus Xtreme: first 3 years full) warranty. The only catch is quantity: when a size sells out, we cannot restock it.
What is the difference between GLI Classic, Estate and Silver Premium?
They are the same idea in three weights. Classic carries an 8-year warranty with 1 year full, Estate steps up to 12 years with 2 years full, and Silver Premium tops the range at 15 years with 3 years full. All three are solid polyethylene with Hold-Tite seams and brass grommets.
Is a solid winter cover the same as a safety cover?
No, and this is the one thing to get right. A winter cover is a tarp that floats on the water and keeps debris out. It is not a barrier and will not support weight. A safety cover is anchored into the deck with springs and is built to the ASTM F1346 standard. If you need to keep children and pets out of the pool, buy a safety cover.
