Handling Notice
SooTHe is calcium chloride dihydrate, a concentrated chemical. Always add product to water, never water to product, and dose only into circulating spa water. It releases heat as it dissolves, so avoid inhaling the dust and wear eye protection. Store the bottle sealed, dry, and away from chlorine, bromine, and other spa chemicals. Retest and adjust in stages rather than overdosing in one shot.

What total hardness level should I aim for?
Keep your spa between 150 and 250 ppm total hardness. Below 150 ppm the water turns corrosive and etches your surfaces and equipment. Above 250 ppm you risk scale and cloudy water. SooTHe raises a low reading back into that ideal band.
How much SooTHe do I add?
Use the included FROG TruDose Cap. Pour product to the fill line for your spa volume, then add it slowly to circulating water with the pump running. Wait a full circulation cycle, retest, and repeat in stages if you are still below 150 ppm. The dosing steps are printed right on the bottle.
Can I use this with my FROG @ease or salt system?
Yes. SooTHe is compatible with FROG @ease and FROG Serene mineral sanitizing systems, so it fits right into your existing SmartChlor routine. It only adjusts calcium hardness and does not interfere with your sanitizer.
Why does my hardness keep dropping?
Fresh fill water is often naturally soft, and draining, refilling, and splash-out all pull hardness down over time. That is normal. Test total hardness when you fill and every few weeks after, and top up with SooTHe whenever the reading falls under 150 ppm.
Can I add SooTHe myself?
Yes. This is a simple owner-added balancer. Test your total hardness, measure the dose in the TruDose Cap, and pour it slowly into circulating water. Always add the product to the water, never the other way around, and keep it away from your other spa chemicals in storage.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
