How do I use one packet the right way?
Keep the tub full and remove the filter, headrests, and pillows. Pour the entire packet into the water, then run the jets on high with the air controls open for 15 to 30 minutes to build turbulence. Foaming is normal. Shut the tub off at the breaker and begin draining. While it drains, rinse and wipe the shell with a hose or wet rag before the loosened gunk can re-stick. Once empty, rinse thoroughly, wipe every surface, reinstall a clean filter, and refill per your spa maker's instructions.
What size hot tub does one packet treat?
One packet is pre-measured for a hot tub up to 600 gallons, which covers the vast majority of residential spas. For a swim spa or a hot tub larger than 600 gallons, use the multi-use tube version dosed at 1 teaspoon per 125 gallons instead.
