How do I read the SmartChlor Out indicator?
Dip a strip, shake once with the pads facing up, and compare the SmartChlor pad to the bottle label. If the pad is darker than the label color, your water is fine. If it is lighter, it is time to replace your SmartChlor cartridge. There is no chlorine number to chase, because SmartChlor self-regulates.
Will these work with regular chlorine or bromine strips readings?
No. These are built specifically for the FROG @ease system. Standard chlorine or bromine strips misread @ease water because SmartChlor holds free chlorine at a low, self-regulating 0.5 to 1.0 ppm. Use these strips to read pH, Total Alkalinity, Total Hardness, and the SmartChlor Out indicator correctly.
How many strips come in a bottle?
Each bottle contains 30 test strips. Keep the cap sealed and store the bottle out of direct sunlight and humidity so the pads stay accurate.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
