The FROG @ease SmartChlor Cartridge for Swim Spas (SKU PST-01143284, MPN 01-14-3284) is the self-regulating chlorine half of the FROG @ease swim spa sanitizing system. Its patented SmartChlor Technology holds a chlorine reserve and releases it only when your water needs it, so you hold a steady 0.5 to 1.0 ppm free chlorine instead of the 1.0 to 3.0 ppm a traditional program chases. This is the SmartChlor chlorine cartridge (the translucent gray one). The FROG @ease swim spa system uses two cartridges: this SmartChlor chlorine cartridge plus a separate blue FROG mineral cartridge. Both work together, the minerals let you run the very low chlorine level SmartChlor delivers. This listing is the SmartChlor cartridge only.
Will this fit my swim spa?
It is designed for the FROG @ease Sanitizing System for Swim Spas and is rated for swim spas up to 3,000 gallons. It snaps into the FROG @ease swim spa floating holder. It is not the same as the smaller in-line or floating SmartChlor cartridges made for standard hot tubs, so confirm you have the swim spa system before ordering.
How long does one cartridge last?
Plan on 3 to 4 weeks per cartridge. When the floating system flips upside down in the water, the SmartChlor is used up and it is time to swap in a fresh cartridge. Adding your monthly maintenance shock around week three can help you get toward the top of that range.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
