FROG Algae Gone 30K (MPN 01-10-6860, SKU PST-01106860) is King Technology's dry, concentrated copper-based algaecide that kills an active green or yellow algae bloom and clears your water fast. Each retail package holds three pre-filled Drop 'n Go pods, enough to treat up to 30,000 gallons at one pod per 10,000 gallons. You drop a pod straight into your skimmer basket, no measuring, no liquid to spill, and built-in stain inhibitors help protect your pool surfaces while the copper does the work.

Copper Staining Notice
This is a copper-based algaecide. Do NOT use FROG Algae Gone if you are already running another copper-based algaecide or a copper mineral system, stacking copper can push levels too high and stain your pool walls, steps, and liner. After dosing, do not clean or backwash the filter for two weeks, keep free chlorine at 2.0 to 4.0 ppm, and always add pool chemicals to water, never water to chemicals.

How many pods come in the 30K package and how do I dose them?
The 30K package includes three pre-filled pods. Use one pod for every 10,000 gallons of pool water, so a full 30,000-gallon pool takes all three at once, a 20,000-gallon pool takes two, and a 10,000-gallon pool takes one. Drop each pod into the skimmer basket and run circulation.
What is the difference between Algae Gone and the FROG 90-Day Algae Barrier?
Algae Gone is a curative product, it kills an algae bloom that is already in your pool. The FROG 90-Day Algae Barrier is a preventative, dosed into clear water to stop algae from starting. Use Algae Gone to clear the green, then follow with the Barrier to keep it from coming back.
Will this work with my salt pool or my mineral system?
It works with chlorine, bromine, and salt pools that have a skimmer. Do not use it if you already run another copper-based algaecide or a copper mineral purifier, because combining copper sources can raise levels high enough to stain your pool. If you are unsure of your current copper level, test first.
How fast will my green pool clear up?
Results typically show within a few hours and no more than 24 hours when used as directed. Brush the pool walls and floor before and after dropping the pods, run the pump continuously, and keep free chlorine at 2.0 to 4.0 ppm to finish the job.
Can I use FROG Algae Gone myself, or do I need a pro?
You can do it yourself. Clean or backwash the filter and empty the skimmer basket first, then set the pods in the skimmer, one per 10,000 gallons. Run circulation for 24 hours, discard the empty pods, and do not clean or backwash the filter for two weeks so the treatment can finish working.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
