How do I use a pod?
Drop one pod into the skimmer basket. It dispenses over the first 24 hours while your pump and filter run. As a preventative, add a fresh pod every 6 months and do not backwash the filter for at least 2 weeks. To clear an active bloom, hold free chlorine at 3 to 5 ppm and pH between 7.2 and 7.8, then clean or backwash the filter after 24 hours.
Will it stain my pool surfaces?
The copper is protected by 4X StainGuard, four stain inhibitors that keep the copper dissolved in the water instead of plating out onto plaster, vinyl, or fiberglass. It carries 25% more stain inhibitors than typical copper algaecides. Keep your water balanced and do not exceed the labeled dose.
