King Technology FROG Algae Blocker Pro Dispenser Box, 12 Pods
Drop it. Walk away. Stay algae-free.
The King Technology FROG Algae Blocker Pro (SKU PST-01184420, MPN 01-18-4420) turns algae prevention into a 10-second job. Each dispenser box holds 12 pre-filled Drop 'n Go pods, and every pod treats up to 10,000 gallons and keeps green, yellow, and black algae out of your water for up to 6 months. You drop one pod in the skimmer basket, let it dispense over the first 24 hours, and throw the empty pod away on your next visit. No measuring, no spilling, no guessing.
Why PST Customers Pick This
Drop 'n Go Simplicity
Toss one pod into the skimmer basket and you are done. It dispenses within 24 hours and the spent pod gets pulled on your next service stop. No measuring, no pouring, no mess.
4X StainGuard Protection
Four dedicated stain inhibitors, 25% more than typical algaecides, keep the copper in solution instead of dropping out onto your plaster, liner, or fiberglass. Copper algaecide power without the copper stains.
Kills All Three Algae Types
Powered by 7.5% copper sulfate pentahydrate, each pod hits green, yellow/mustard, and stubborn black algae. Use it to prevent outbreaks or to clear an active bloom.
Fabric Pod Meters the Dose
The engineered fabric pod releases copper at a controlled rate, fast enough to work quickly but slow enough to protect your pump, filter, and salt chlorine generator. No slug dose, no equipment shock.
Works With Any Sanitizer
Fully compatible with chlorine, bromine, saltwater systems, UV, and ozone. Drop a pod into any sanitized pool, above ground or in ground, with no negative impact on your water chemistry.
Dry, Light, and Shelf-Stable
A dry concentrate that is roughly 7x lighter than a quart of liquid algaecide. The sealed pods cannot leak, crack, break, or freeze, so a box stores easily on the truck or the shelf.
Handling Notice
This is an EPA-registered copper-based algaecide (EPA Reg. No. 53735-17, signal word CAUTION). It is harmful if swallowed and causes serious eye irritation. Keep pods sealed and out of reach of children and pets, wear eye protection when handling, and do not open or split a pod. Run the pump and filter continuously for at least 24 hours after dropping a pod, and follow all label directions.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many pods come in this box, and how much water does each one treat?
This dispenser box contains 12 pre-filled pods. Each pod treats up to 10,000 gallons and provides up to 6 months of algae protection, so one pod handles most residential pools per dosing cycle. For a larger pool, use one pod per 10,000 gallons.
How do I use a pod?
Drop one pod into the skimmer basket. It dispenses over the first 24 hours while your pump and filter run. As a preventative, add a fresh pod every 6 months and do not backwash the filter for at least 2 weeks. To clear an active bloom, hold free chlorine at 3 to 5 ppm and pH between 7.2 and 7.8, then clean or backwash the filter after 24 hours.
Will it stain my pool surfaces?
The copper is protected by 4X StainGuard, four stain inhibitors that keep the copper dissolved in the water instead of plating out onto plaster, vinyl, or fiberglass. It carries 25% more stain inhibitors than typical copper algaecides. Keep your water balanced and do not exceed the labeled dose.
Is it safe for salt pools and my equipment?
Yes. It is compatible with saltwater systems, chlorine, bromine, UV, and ozone. The fabric pod meters the copper out at a controlled rate so there is no slug dose to shock your pump, filter, or salt chlorine generator. Run the pump continuously for at least 24 hours after dropping a pod.
Can I apply this myself?
Yes. There is nothing to measure or mix. Because it is an EPA-registered copper algaecide (CAUTION), wear eye protection, keep pods sealed and away from children and pets, do not open a pod, and follow every label instruction. Anyone who can drop a pod into a skimmer can apply it safely.

Let customers speak for us
The process was smooth and lights arived as expected. Everything test out in good working order.
Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
This costume is legit. It has the sparkle, glittery sheen to it like the one used on screen! Very happy with it!!
Excellent service!
PST was great at communicating the status of my order throughout the various stages. I actually did encounter a shipment issue and they handled it without issue. I will be doing business again with them.

as described, fast shipping
My wife has RA and is always uncomfortable. Our hot tub heater failed and all the local shops were not able to assist until November. I was able to order an exact replacement part which was delivered within 3 days the hot tub was up and functioning in three days. I was very impressed with the quality and service.
Good quality just ordered wrong size and also need thicker cover
Fit perfectly, and fast shipping
Super fast shipping and reliable product !
I accidentally broke the original knob by tightening it too much. This was a perfect fit and works 100%. Fast delivery too!
Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.
Great prices, fast shipping, great products
Haven't received yet but I'm sure it'll be great
