Genuine H2Flow FlowVis combination flow meter and check valve in the 2 in / 2-1/2 in spigot body, with the integrated safety flapper for the dual-function check role. Reads 10 to 110 GPM directly on a clear GPM scale (LPM and FPS marks optional), and the flapper backs up flow shutoff during pump-off or backwash operations. NSF 50 Level 1 certified for commercial pool use, no calibration required, installs horizontal, vertical, or upside-down with no loss of accuracy.

Can I install this right next to an elbow or other fitting?
Yes. The FlowVis is engineered to maintain accuracy with no straight-pipe run requirement, unusual for a flow meter. Most competing meters need 5 to 10 pipe diameters of straight pipe upstream to get a reliable reading. This unit reads true even when installed inches from an elbow, tee, or valve.
Do I still need a separate check valve?
No. On the 1.5 in, 2 in, and 2.5 in models (this one included), the FlowVis doubles as the system check valve via the integrated flapper. Eliminates a fitting, a glue joint, and a leak point. Pair it with your pump discharge to prevent siphon-back when the system is off.
Will this fit my schedule 40 plumbing?
Yes. The 2 in / 2-1/2 in spigot end is sized to glue directly into the socket of a 2 in or 2-1/2 in Sch 40 PVC fitting or pipe coupling. Use standard PVC primer and cement, no special prep for the CPVC body. Dry-fit first to confirm orientation, the flow direction arrow on the body must match the actual pump flow.

just as listed. well packeged, fast ahip, works fine. purchased to remedy issue with heater and ozone injectorboth operating together. might have been able to just bend old switch a bit but did not try that.

My intouch2 was not working so I researched new intouch3 from Spa Dealer and they wanted $75 just to come out, then $125 for up to an hr...just to confirm what I already knew.
