The King Technology Flippin' Frog XL Replacement Chlorine Cartridge (PST-01038550, MPN 01-03-8550) is the prefilled orange refill that snaps onto the green mineral cartridge of your Flippin' Frog XL floating sanitizer. It sanitizes pools between 5,000 and 10,000 gallons and lasts about 3 to 4 weeks per cartridge, depending on pool size, bather load, and weather. Because it works alongside the FROG minerals, your pool stays clean and clear on up to 50% less chlorine than a standard floating dispenser, holding a gentle 0.5 to 1.0 ppm free chlorine instead of the 3 to 5 ppm most pools run.

Which pool size does this cartridge fit?
The Flippin' Frog XL chlorine cartridge is rated for pools between 5,000 and 10,000 gallons, above ground or in-ground. It is not recommended for pools under 5,000 gallons. For smaller pools, use the standard Flippin' Frog cartridge instead.
How long does one cartridge last?
Plan on about 3 to 4 weeks per chlorine cartridge, depending on pool size, bather load, water temperature, and your dial setting. When the whole system slowly flips over in the water, the cartridge is empty and it is time for a fresh one.
Can I set this up myself?
Yes. Unwrap the cartridge, align it with the tab guides on the green mineral cartridge and push until it clicks, twist the dial to your setting, then tether it in the pool away from the skimmer and return jet. Balance your water and keep free chlorine at 0.5 to 1.0 ppm, testing with FROG test strips. The mineral cartridge itself lasts up to a full season, so you only swap this chlorine cartridge every few weeks.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
