The King Technology Flippin' FROG Replacement Chlorine Cartridge (MPN 01-03-8356, SKU PST-01038356) is the prefilled refill that keeps your Flippin' FROG floating mineral sanitizer dosing your pool. It snaps onto the mineral cartridge and works with Fresh Mineral Water to kill bacteria two ways, which lets you run up to 50% less chlorine than a chlorine-only pool. When the float flips upside down, that is your signal to click-twist off the spent cartridge and drop in a fresh one. Sized for above-ground and soft-sided pools from 2,000 to 5,000 gallons, each cartridge lasts about 3 to 4 weeks in swim season.

Which Flippin' FROG does this fit?
It fits the standard Flippin' FROG floating sanitizer for pools from 2,000 to 5,000 gallons. It does not fit the larger Flippin' FROG XL, which uses a different chlorine cartridge (MPN 01-03-8550) for pools up to 10,000 gallons.
How long does one cartridge last?
Plan on about 3 to 4 weeks of dosing per cartridge in season. The float flips upside down when the cartridge is spent, so you get a clear visual cue instead of guessing.
Do I still need the mineral cartridge?
Yes. The chlorine cartridge and the mineral cartridge work together. Fresh Minerals make the chlorine last about 2x longer and let you sanitize with far less chlorine, so keep a working mineral cartridge installed for the results the system is designed to deliver. When the floater flips over, rotate the cartridges until the arrows line up, pull the empty one off, then click-twist the new cartridge on. No tools required.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
