The Filbur FC-9740 (PST-APCFGR12) is a 24 x 13.5 inch replacement DE filter grid for Anthony Apollo and Flowmaster diatomaceous earth filters. It drops into your existing manifold with the center hub port and gives you the same fine polypropylene filtration the OEM grid did, so your pressure gauge stays low and your water stays crystal clear. Use it as a one-to-one swap for Anthony 17564, Unicel FG-2413, and APCFG2413.

The Apollo VA-26, VA-32, and VA-38 use 6 of these 24 x 13.5 in. grids. The VA-52 and VA-52-2" use 4. Count what is in your tank before ordering, and replace the full set if more than one is torn or stained.

What is the difference between the small Apollo grid and the larger DE grids?
Anthony built Apollo filters in two grid sizes. This is the small grid at 24 x 13.5 in. with the center hub port. If your filter takes a taller grid, you need a different part. Pull a grid out and measure it before you order.
Can I install one of these myself?
Yes. Shut the pump off, relieve pressure at the air relief, open the filter, lift the manifold, and swap the grid into the same slot. Brush the new grid to wet the cloth, reassemble, and recoat with DE per your filter's square footage rating. Most DIY owners finish a single-grid swap in under an hour.
How often should I replace DE filter grids?
Plan on a full grid set every 5 to 7 years of normal use. Replace sooner if you see DE pushing back into the pool, the pressure climbs fast after a backwash and recharge, or you spot torn cloth or a cracked manifold seat during your annual teardown.
