The Filbur APCFGR10 (FC-9720) is the 24 in x 9 in rectangular replacement DE filter grid for Anthony Apollo and Flowmaster diatomaceous earth filters. It drops onto your existing manifold through the center hub port and rebuilds the filtration surface with spunbonded polyester cloth, so your pump runs at design flow and your water comes back clear. This is the direct one-to-one replacement for Unicel FG-2409 and Anthony OEM part 25050.

It is built for Anthony Apollo and Flowmaster DE filters that use the narrow 24 x 9 in rectangular grid with a center hub port. These filters were sold in several square-footage sizes, so pull one grid and measure it against the 24 x 9 in dimensions before you order a full set. If more than one grid is torn or flattened, replace the full set so new and old cloth load DE evenly.
Can I replace one of these myself?
Yes. Shut the pump off, bleed pressure at the air relief, open the filter, lift the grid assembly, and seat this replacement on the same manifold posts through the center hub port. Reassemble and recharge with fresh diatomaceous earth to your filter's square-footage rating. No tools beyond what the filter teardown already requires.
