Danner Cover Care CC350 Magnetic Drive Pool Cover Pump, 350 GPH
No seals, no oil.
The Danner Cover Care CC350 is a magnetically driven centrifugal cover pump that moves up to 350 GPH off a winter pool cover and, because the motor drives the impeller through a magnetic coupling, it has no shaft seals to wear and no oil to leak. It sits fully submerged on the cover and hooks to any standard 3/4 in garden hose. A clog resistant foam prefilter pops off for rinsing, and the whole unit runs on roughly half the electricity of a conventional motor driven cover pump.

What is the difference between the CC350 and the CC500?
Flow rate. The CC350 moves 350 GPH and the CC500 moves 500 GPH. Both have the 25 ft cord, the garden hose discharge, and the 5 year warranty. Pick the 500 for a large cover or a wet climate.
Does it start and stop on its own?
No, the CC350 is a manual pump. Plug it in when water collects on the cover and unplug it when the cover is clear.
Why does magnetic drive matter?
A magnetic drive has no shaft seal to wear, and there is no oil to contaminate the pool.
How do I maintain it?
Unplug it, pull the foam prefilter, rinse it under a hose, and put it back. Danner also calls for pulling the magnet impeller assembly and cleaning off scale at least every three months.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
