How much clearance do I need behind the spa?
A roll style lifter needs open space behind the tub for the cover to travel into. Check your deck layout before ordering, especially if the spa is set into a corner or against a wall.
Can I install it myself?
Yes. The brackets mount to the spa cabinet with basic hand tools. Have a second person hold the bar while you set the brackets, and dry fit everything before you drill.
