Single Zodiac Caretaker Clear Step and Bench Nozzle (MPN 1-9-459) for in-floor pool cleaning systems. Slots into any Caretaker 99 pop-up cleaning head and is shaped specifically for the smaller cleaning footprint of steps, benches, swimouts, and beach entries. Clear plastic blends into white tile and plaster, the angled spray pattern delivers about a 4 ft cleaning radius at 7 GPM.

Is this a single nozzle or a multi-pack?
Single nozzle. Zodiac's single-nozzle MPN is 1-9-459. The 25-pack variant (MPN 3-9-459) is a different manufacturer SKU intended for builders and service techs doing whole-system retrofits.
What is the difference between the step and bench nozzle and the standard nozzle?
Step and bench nozzles have a smaller cleaning footprint (about 4 ft radius) for the tight geometry of steps and built-in benches. Standard nozzles have a wider radius for open floor coverage. Mixing the two across a Caretaker system is normal, use step/bench heads on the upper steps and bench, standard heads in the main pool floor.
Will this fit my Polaris in-floor system?
Yes, the Caretaker 99 in-floor cleaning system is sold under the Zodiac, Polaris, Jandy, and Caretaker brand names depending on the era and pool builder. They are all the same Fluidra-family product, the 1-9-459 nozzle drops into any of them. Pull one of your existing nozzles to confirm the body matches the Caretaker 99 profile before ordering quantity.
