Set Cell Type T-CELL-9

Low-Flow Mounting Options
With 2-speed or variable speed pumps on low speed, Hayward suggests mounting the cell vertically or inverted so it stays flooded with water.
Configure Before Use
Hayward requires the controller to be configured for the T-CELL-9 or GLX-CELL-9-W before the cell is operated. Incorrect configuration causes inaccurate salt readings, improper operation and possible system shutdown.

Yes, if it is an Aqua Rite from 2009 or later running firmware 1.5 or later. An Aqua Rite Pro needs firmware 1.10 or later. Hayward says the GLX-CELL-9-W will not work with earlier versions.
How do I check the firmware on an Aqua Rite Pro or Pro Logic?
On an Aqua Rite Pro, push Info, then push > until the firmware revision shows. On a Pro Logic P4 or PS, enter the Diagnostic Menu and push > until the Main Firmware revision shows. Hayward says the cell cannot be used below 1.10 on the Aqua Rite Pro or below 4.10 on the Pro Logic.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
