Horizon Ventures 2012 Plastic Base Mount for HV-18, HV-24 and HV-28 Above Ground Reels
Replacement base mount for the Elite reel.
The Horizon Ventures 2012 is the replacement plastic base mount for the HV 18, HV 24 and HV 28 above ground reels. Horizon Ventures' assembly manual lists it as Base Mount part #2012, with two used on each reel, one on each side of the pool's top rail.

How do I install the base mount?
Horizon Ventures' manual says to place each base mount on the top rail with the "STOP" toward the pool, set the reel and base mounts on the rail, and mark the mount holes. Drill 2 holes with a 1/4" bit using the base mount as a guide, insert a 1" hex head base mount bolt, and tighten it with a 7/16" hex socket with a washer and nut under the top rail. Do both sides.
How many do I need per reel?
Horizon Ventures' parts list shows 2 base mounts (part 2012) per HV-18, HV-24 or HV-28 reel.
Does it come with the bolts, nuts and washers?
Horizon Ventures lists the base mount bolt (3051), nut (3052) and washer (3053) under their own part numbers, so check your reel's hardware before ordering.

I accidentally broke the original **** by tightening it too much. This was a perfect fit and works 100%. Fast delivery too!
Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order. And make one, it would take 5 to 8 weeks. I contacted PST they put my order in and I received it in about six weeks. Fantastic people to work with. Thanks Tim
