Complete band clamp for Paramount water valves.
The Paramount 005-302-3570-00 band clamp is the complete clamp assembly, including the knob and nut, that holds the top of a Paramount in-floor cleaning system water valve onto its base. Paramount lists it in the water valve parts breakdown of its Cleaning System Manual, which applies to all Paramount in-floor cleaning and circulation systems that use a Paramount water valve.

Knob or 7/16" Nut
The clamp tightens on a threaded bolt with the clamp knob or a 7/16 inch nut. Turn it counter-clockwise until it comes off the bolt to open the valve.
Seals With the Base O-Ring
The clamp closes the valve top over the base o-ring (005-302-0100-00). Paramount says that o-ring needs no lubrication, since lube attracts dirt that can stop it sealing.
Safety Notice
Paramount says to turn off all equipment, including pumps, before opening the water valve, and never to stand over the valve while the pump is on, since that can result in death or serious injury.

Yes. Paramount lists 005-302-3570-00 as the band clamp complete, including the knob and the nut. If you only need the knob, Paramount's part number for it is 005-302-3600-00.
How do I install the band clamp?
With the pumps off, set the valve top on the base, place the band clamp around the valve shells and put the knob or 7/16" nut on the threaded bolt. Tighten it securely while gently tapping the clamp, starting opposite the knob and working around both sides. Paramount warns not to over-tighten.
What if the valve still leaks after I close it?
Paramount says to turn off the pump and tighten the band clamp more. If it keeps leaking, repeat the closing steps, and if that doesn't work, replace the base o-ring.

I accidentally broke the original knob by tightening it too much. This was a perfect fit and works 100%. Fast delivery too!
Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order.
