- User friendly handle operation - union nut load does not transfer onto ball seat, thereby providing user with easy handle operation even if valve not operated for a long period of time.
- "below grade - blocked seat flooded suction design" - valve seat will not blow out from static pressure if union nut removed.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable. This worked great for our Bullfrog X6L. Plug and play actually worked as it should and connected right up. Shipping took a bit long, but given it was free, I'm not complaining. Also it was 75% cheaper than buying from the bullfrog dealer.

I was looking for a part for an old pool filter housing.
