The Arctic Armor Rugged Mesh Winter Cover for 12' x 20' in-ground pools (model WC650, SKU PST-WC650) is a black woven mesh cover that stops leaves, sticks and other debris at the surface while rain and melting snow drain slowly through. The finished cover measures 17' x 25', which builds in a 5' total overlap for an even, centered fit, and it is sized for water lowered up to 18" below the deck. Woven, laminated polyethylene keeps it light to handle, the hems are double-stitched and triple reinforced, and it is backed by an 8-year limited warranty with the first year full.

What size cover do I order?
Order by your pool size, not the cover size. This cover is listed for 12' x 20' in-ground pools and measures 17' x 25', so the 5' total overlap is already added. It is sized for water up to 18" below the deck; if you drop the water further than that at closing, go up a size. Never stretch a cover that comes up short to make it reach.
Mesh or solid: which one do I need?
Rugged Mesh stops leaves, sticks and other debris while rain and snowmelt drain through it. Arctic Armor's solid in-ground covers (10-Year, 12-Year and 15-Year) hold rainwater on top all winter and have a black underside. Both install with water tubes, and both are winter covers, not safety covers.
How do I hold the cover down?
With water tubes, sold separately, set in the loops along the perimeter. Skip sharp blocks and other makeshift weights: sharp blocks cut and scuff the cover, and the warranty treats makeshift hold-downs as improper installation. If you also tie the cover to a fence, use a flexible bungee cord so it can shift as snow and ice build up, and keep the water tubes in place.
Can I put the cover on myself?
Yes, and one or two helpers make it faster. Tape over any exposed sharp edges first, and pad coping or other rough spots the cover will rub against. Spread the cover evenly so the overlap is the same on all four sides, because an off-center cover can malfunction and voids the warranty. Then set your water tubes in the loops.
How does the 8-year warranty work?
It is an 8-year limited warranty. The first year is unconditional on fabric and workmanship; after that, material degradation is pro-rated as a credit toward a new winter cover. A purchase receipt is required for every claim, and the purchaser pays handling and shipping on the replacement. Improper installation voids the coverage. Damage from wind, snow and heavy rain is not covered.

Dog chewed pool robot cord end. Ordered this fix it. Delivery was a little slow and I think some instructions should have been included as should have been a tiny allen wrench needed to tighten the wires into the plug. I got it done but think most homeowners would have a problem doing it. Other than these issues, the plug works fine and was much cheaper than buying a whole new cord.
Had a minor issue with pricing of a separate part in my order, but the sales team was responsive and reasonable, and worked with me to come to a mutually agreeable solution. In a world where character and reason has become the exception rather than the norm, they stand by their word and were committed to finding a fair solution.

Came here looking for a replacement flow switch and housing. My last one that I purchased on Amazon (cheap Chinese ****) lasted only 9mo before leaking severely in 2 places. I noticed a quality difference in the replacement I received from PST. I expect this one to far exceed the prior one. It installed quickly and works perfectly. Best of all, the leaked are gone.
