Arctic Armor Leaf Net Cover for 16' x 36' In-Ground Pools

The Arctic Armor Leaf Net Cover for 16' x 36' in-ground pools (model WC560, SKU PST-WC560) is a black woven polyethylene mesh net that installs on top of your winter cover and catches falling leaves. It measures 20' x 40', which builds in a 4' total overlap that leaves about 1-1/2 to 2 feet on each side once it is centered, and it is sized for water lowered up to 18" below the deck. To clean up, lift the net off with the leaves in it, brush them away, let the net dry completely and store it for next fall. Backed by a 4-year limited warranty with the first year full.

Rides On Your Winter Cover

Does the leaf net go over or under my winter cover?
Over. Put your winter cover on and secure it first, then center the leaf net on top of it. The net catches the leaves so they collect on something you can lift away.
What size leaf net do I order?
Order by your pool size, the same size you use for the winter cover. This net is listed for 16' x 36' in-ground pools and measures 20' x 40', so the 4' total overlap is already added. It is sized for water up to 18" below the deck; if you drop the water further than that, go up a size. Never stretch a net that comes up short.
Can I use the leaf net instead of a winter cover?
No. Arctic Armor makes the leaf net to be installed on top of a winter cover, not in place of one. Pair it with an Arctic Armor in-ground winter cover in the same pool size.
How do I install and secure it?
One or two helpers make it quick. Center the net over the covered pool with the overlap even on all four sides, then hold it down with water tubes (sold separately) in the loops every 4' around the edge. Skip sharp blocks and other makeshift weights: sharp blocks cut and scuff the netting, and the warranty treats makeshift hold-downs as improper installation. If you tie it to a fence, use a flexible bungee cord and keep the water tubes in place.
How does the 4-year warranty work?
It is a 4-year limited warranty. The first year is unconditional on fabric and workmanship; after that, material degradation is pro-rated as a credit toward a new leaf net. A purchase receipt is required for every claim, and the purchaser pays handling and shipping on the replacement. Improper installation voids the coverage. Damage from wind, snow and heavy rain is not covered.

Dog chewed pool robot cord end. Ordered this fix it. Delivery was a little slow and I think some instructions should have been included as should have been a tiny allen wrench needed to tighten the wires into the plug. I got it done but think most homeowners would have a problem doing it. Other than these issues, the plug works fine and was much cheaper than buying a whole new cord.
Had a minor issue with pricing of a separate part in my order, but the sales team was responsive and reasonable, and worked with me to come to a mutually agreeable solution. In a world where character and reason has become the exception rather than the norm, they stand by their word and were committed to finding a fair solution.

Came here looking for a replacement flow switch and housing. My last one that I purchased on Amazon (cheap Chinese ****) lasted only 9mo before leaking severely in 2 places. I noticed a quality difference in the replacement I received from PST. I expect this one to far exceed the prior one. It installed quickly and works perfectly. Best of all, the leaked are gone.
