The APC APCK1180 is the standard service kit for the Hayward Matrix above-ground pump line. Includes the mechanical shaft seal plus the lid, diffuser, and housing O-rings needed for a complete rebuild.

How do I know my pump is a Matrix?
The Matrix line is Hayward's premium above-ground pump with the cast-in 'Matrix' name on the volute. Check the motor data plate for the full Hayward model number to confirm.
Is there a Premium Seal upgrade for this kit?
Not at the moment. For an ozone-equipped pad on a Matrix install, lubricate the standard seal with pool-grade silicone and plan on a shorter service interval.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Disconnect power, separate the wet-end from the motor, swap the seal and all O-rings, lubricate with pool-grade silicone, and torque the volute bolts in a star pattern.
