3/4 in shaft seal with Viton elastomers for salt and ozone systems
APC APCAS201V is the Viton version of the 3/4 in PS-201 size pump shaft seal, the PS-3868 size. Viton elastomers hold up better than standard Buna in pools and spas with salt chlorine generators, ozone or peroxide based chemicals.

How do I install a pump shaft seal?
Turn off power, open the pump and remove the impeller. Press the ceramic seat into the seal plate with the polished face out, then slide the spring half onto the motor shaft or impeller hub. Never touch the polished faces, and don't run the pump dry.
When should I use a Viton seal?
Choose Viton if the pool or spa uses a salt chlorine generator, ozone or peroxide based chemicals. Standard Buna seals are fine for regular chlorine pools.

Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order.
