Universal 1/8 in NPT heater pressure switch with brass adapters
APC APC3902 is a universal pressure switch kit for spa packs and pool and spa heaters: a 1 amp, normally open, 1/8 in NPT switch (a Tecmark 3902, as pictured) with an adjustable 1 to 5 PSI set point, plus brass adapters so it can match the original connection.

Will a 1 amp switch work on my heater?
Only if the old switch was also a low current (1 amp) switch. Digital spa packs and gas heater control circuits use 1 amp switches. Older analog spa packs that switch the heater element directly need a 21 or 25 amp switch, so check the rating printed on your old switch first.
Do I need to adjust it?
Usually not. If the heater shows a flow or pressure error with good flow, the set point can be adjusted on the switch. Turn off power before working on the heater or spa pack.

Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order. And make one, it would take 5 to 8 weeks. I contacted PST they put my order in and I received it in about six weeks. Fantastic people to work with. Thanks Tim

My hot tub stopped giving a signal to trigger the heating core. I had to replace a whole motherboard and they had the perfect product and with a couple of screws. It went right right in and worked perfectly.
