Microban slows odor buildup but does not extend the mechanical life of the media.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Turn off the spa, unthread the old cartridge from the housing, rinse out the canister, and screw this one in hand-tight using the handle for grip. No tools, no plumbing, and no clamps. Spin the pump back on and check for a clean seal at the threaded base.
